These yoga techniques are all necessary to get the full benefit of yoga. For example without the proper breathing, it is unlikely that you will be able to get the depth of yoga meditation, and without the proper diet, the exercises - especially the more flexible types will be almost impossible to do.

This makes balance an essential key to success with yoga. It can become easy to focus on the meditation aspect and forget about the importance of the exercises or the positive thinking.

Each of the yoga techniques add on to each other to make yoga what it is. Sometimes you may find that you focus more on one, than another, however over time, you should see improvements with each of the areas.

The main key to yoga techniques is just to keep the five elements balanced when practicing yoga because once you have combined and kept the five elements balanced, you are guaranteed to manifest stability, adaptability, grace, radiance, and directness. Only then that when you have applied balance or the right amount of presence on the five elements or “drushti”, “bandha”, “vinyasa”, “asana”, and “pranayama” lead to its fruition.
